Billettera Controller is a professional ticket-control tool intended for event organizers and the controllers they designate, allowing the authenticity of tickets to be verified at events through the billettera.com platform.

2Data collected

Authentication data

  • Login identifier (login)
  • Password (transmitted securely to the server, never stored locally in plain text)
  • Authentication token (stored locally in AsyncStorage)
  • Token expiry date

Usage data

  • Identifier of the selected event session (programmation)
  • History of scans performed by the controller (holder's first and last name, booking reference, validation date/time)
  • Ticket search results

Technical data

  • Access to the phone's camera (to scan the QR codes on tickets)

Data NOT collected

  • The application does not collect geolocation data
  • The application does not collect audio data (no microphone recording)
  • The application does not collect contact data
  • The application does not collect advertising data
  • The application does not use third-party trackers or analytics
  • The application does not use cookies

3Purpose of data processing

Data is processed exclusively to:

  • Authenticate the user with the billettera.com server
  • Enable the verification and validation of tickets at events
  • Display control statistics (occupancy gauges, scan history)
  • Enable ticket search by name

4Data storage

Locally on the device

  • Authentication token and its expiry date (AsyncStorage)
  • No other data is stored persistently on the device
  • The selected event session is held in memory only (lost when the application is closed)

On the server

  • Scan and verification data are stored on the billettera.com servers
  • Hosting provided by OVHcloud (servers located in Europe)

5Data sharing

The personal data collected through the Billettera Controller application:

  • Is not shared with third parties
  • Is not sold
  • Travels only between the application and the billettera.com server over HTTPS (encrypted connection)

6Data retention

  • The local authentication token expires after 7 days (duration defined by the server)
  • Scan and verification data are retained on the server in accordance with billettera.com's retention policy and applicable legal obligations

7User rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access — Obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and receive a copy

Right to rectification — Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected

Right to erasure — Request the deletion of your personal data

Right to portability — Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

Right to object — Object to the processing of your data

8Camera permission

The application requests access to your device's camera solely to scan the QR codes printed on tickets.

  • The camera is activated only on the scan screen
  • No image or video is recorded or transmitted
  • Only the decoded content of the QR code (a ticket identifier) is sent to the server for verification

9Security

We implement the following technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • Encrypted communication over HTTPS/TLS between the application and the server
  • Token-based authentication with automatic expiry
  • No password stored locally on the device

10Target audience

The Billettera Controller application is intended exclusively for adults and event-industry professionals. It does not target children under the age of 16 and collects no data concerning them.

11Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated at any time. Users will be informed of any material change through the application or the billettera.com website.
